WE NEED MCEES' CONSCIOUS MOVEMENT.

Those of us who came of age with hip-hop as the soundtrack of our formative years have longed for the day when hip-hop would move closer to a cultural form more reflective of the complex, multi-dimensional identity of our generation in Tanzania.

We need mcees' conscious movements that will spearhead the struggle against drugs abuse, noble political activisim and good governance, communal developments, and equality in a manner that promotes our oneness and human dignity.
We need mcees' concious movement that will shift the focus from musculinity and fastlane life of hip-hop culture to the culture of conscious revolution and servanthood life.
We need mcees' concious movement that will recognize the importance of much needed cultural reflection and generational dialogue (our challenges).
